Pregnancy and beyond

Why is yoga good pre during and after pregnancy....

We offer the following:

Yoga and pregnancy workshops - these are just for pregnant women and focus on the type of practice one should adopt during pregnancy and beyond.  These are run periodically by Fiona Sarjeant, a Junior Intermediate teacher.  The next workshop is in November 2010.  Please contact us for further information.

Attendance at regular classes - students already attending classes who become pregant are able to remain in the same class as long as they have no complications during pregnancy or do not have a history of miscarriage. For new students to yoga the only classes they can attend are those run by Fiona Sarjeant (Tuesday or Wednesday evenings).  Students who have medical conditions or a history of repeated miscarriage should contact us in the first instance as a normal class may not be appropriate.

Mother and baby yoga classes - Hazel Marr is looking at setting up classes for Mother and Baby yoga.  Please note this is not a post natal yoga class as the focus is on yoga with your baby as opposed to how you should practise following birth. Please contact us for further information.
